Overseas voting for eligible Filipinos abroad has commenced on April 13. This is the first time wherein voters are casting their ballots through internet voting.

Prior to the online voting period, voters were required to pre-enroll to be eligible. To do so:

  • They must have signed up and completed an enrollment form.
  • Completed their identification information.
  • Information provided will then be validated.

To cast their votes, the voters just need to go to this link and log in. They can vote for up to 12 senators and 1 party-list representative.

Overseas voting will end on May 12.

GMA News Online has reported that some overseas Filipinos have expressed their confusion about the alleged changing of votes after scanning the QR codes on their ballots.

The Commission on Elections has explained that the list of names that voters saw after casting ballots via the online voting and counting system is part of the encrypted scripts and not the candidates they voted for.
