The Redmi A5 is now available and has been priced in the Philippines starting at PHP 3,599. Its price tag alone should make it an attractive option in the entry-level segment.
For specs, it has a 6.88-inch display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Powering it is a UNISOC T7250 chipset with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage.
Optics include a 32-megapixel main camera and an auxiliary sensor at the rear. At the front, it has an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. It also packs a 5,200mAh battery with support for 15W of fast carging.
As per Xiaomi, it can last up to 20.7 hours for video playback. It also offers an up time for up to 9.14 hours of gaming. It will ship with Android 15 Go Edition out of the box. Other features include its side-mounted fingerprint sensor and 3.5mm audio port.
The Redmi A5 can be found listed on Xiaomi’s official Lazada and Shopee stores in the Philippines. As mentioned, it starts at PHP 3,599 with 3GB/64GB. It’s also available for PHP 4,099 with 4GB/128GB.
