DITO Recognized by Opensignal as Fastest Mobile Network in the Philippines.
In Opensignal’s April 2025 Mobile Network Experience Report, DITO Telecommunity was named the Fastest Mobile Network in the Philippines. The company received 14 out of 16 awards in the report, including top recognition across all categories under the 5G Experience section.
“The recognition reflects DITO’s unwavering commitment to delivering world-class mobile experiences to Filipinos,” shared Eric Alberto, President and CEO of DITO Telecommunity.
DITO’s performance in the report is attributed to its infrastructure investments, including an all-IP network and 5G Standalone (SA) architecture. The company uses dynamic spectrum sharing, a high-capacity backbone, and intelligent core technologies to support its mobile services.
“Speed alone doesn’t tell the full story. It’s about how we built a digital-first, future-ready network that can scale, self-optimize, and deliver performance at par with global standards,” added President Eric Alberto.
Driven by its goal to provide reliable service and meet customer needs, DITO continues to invest in understanding the changing demands of its expanding user base. By offering competitive data plans and enhancing its network capabilities, the company aims to support Filipinos with accessible connectivity, guided by ongoing innovation and long-term planning.
Connectivity Aligned with Today’s Mobile Demands
According to Opensignal, DITO recorded a 5G download speed of 280.8 Mbps and a 5G upload speed of 16.1 Mbps, leading among competitors. The company also received top scores in Video Experience, Games Experience, Voice App Experience, and Wi-Fi performance.
In the area of service reliability, DITO was recognized for its Consistent Quality (with a score of 60.9% of sessions delivering excellent performance) and Reliability Experience (scoring 853 points), maintaining top positions in both categories for multiple reporting periods.
These results from OpenSignal’s independent analysis suggests that DITO’s network is designed to support both speed and the digital habits of today’s Filipino users.
