At the 13th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVS), Ayala-owned ACMobility announced its initiative to build a comprehensive electric vehicle (EV) charging network that will connect major cities across the Philippines.

Carla Buencamino, head of mobility infrastructure at ACMobility, introduced the Philippine EV Spine Network, an ambitious project designed to link EV charging stations from Pagudpud in the north to Pagadian in the south.
According to Buencamino, more than 100 charging sites are already operational, with 70 additional sites expected to go live soon.
The network aims to establish 700 charging points nationwide by the end of 2025, marking a major leap forward for the country’s growing EV ecosystem.
A key partner in this initiative is Evro PH, a fast-rising software solutions provider and the leading e-mobility platform in the Philippines.
Its Evro app, which now has over 35,000 downloads and 25,000 registered users, represents about 80% of the country’s EV driver base.
The app provides a suite of smart tools for EV users, including a Station Finder that maps all Department of Energy (DOE)-registered charging stations and allows users to filter based on plug type and vehicle compatibility.
It also features a My Charge Planner, which helps estimate charging costs and manage battery levels for long trips, and a GCash Link and Pay feature that enables secure, cashless payments at charging sites.
To further enhance accessibility, ACMobility has partnered with Shell Recharge, integrating its charging infrastructure to provide drivers with a broader and more reliable network.
The company also introduced Evro Charge Vouchers, digital discount coupons redeemable at partner establishments such as Shell Recharge, Caltex, and AC Mobility stations.

During the same event, Kia Philippines, another ACMobility subsidiary, presented a preview of the Kia EV5, its upcoming compact electric SUV.
The EV5 — targeted at young families and city drivers — will officially go on sale in the first quarter of 2026.
The EV5 is equipped with a 217 PS electric motor, 310 Nm of torque, and an 88.1 kWh battery that offers up to 550 kilometers of range on a single charge.
It also supports vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality, allowing users to power devices directly from the vehicle. Inside, it features five-passenger seating, Kia DriveWise driver-assistance technologies, and an annual preventive maintenance program for worry-free ownership.
