The Philippines Kings League (PKL) Fall 2025 Playoffs concluded on Oct. 12 after three days of intense competition that highlighted the country’s top talent in the hit mobile game Honor of Kings.
Emerging triumphant from the finals held at Ayala Malls Trinoma, Blacklist International claimed the championship trophy, further cementing its reputation as one of the leading teams in the local e-sports scene.
Launched earlier this year, the PKL is the country’s premier league for Honor of Kings, developed by TiMi Studio Group and published by Tencent Games. The Fall Season marked the second official installment of the tournament, following its successful debut last June.
The Fall regular season, held from August 29 to October 4 at Shooting Gallery Studios in Makati, drew strong fan engagement both on-site and online.
Eight teams advanced to the playoffs to battle for a share of the $60,000 prize pool, with matches attracting large audiences at Trinoma.
Blacklist International’s victory was fueled by standout performances from Chammy Paul Nazarrea, who captured nine MVP titles during the regular season and two more in the playoffs.
Alongside Blacklist International, BOOM Esports, Elevate, and A.C.T Esports Club completed the top four and earned the right to represent the Philippines in the upcoming Honor of Kings International Championship 2025 (KIC 2025).
Set to be hosted in the Philippines this November, KIC 2025 will bring together 16 elite teams from across the globe, including those from Brazil, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, and South Korea, competing for a $1-million prize pool.
